On Saturday, 28 September 2019, in the morning at 6:40, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Lyda main road (kilometre 25), a DAF FT XF 105.460 registered in Ukraine hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the DAF (18 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
