On Friday, 4 October 2019, in the morning at 7:10, in Kauno district municipality, Ramučių village, on Kauno street near No. 1, a Toyota Corolla hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person died — a 88-year-old pedestrian (later died from the injuries). The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the Toyota (51 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
