Opel Zafira hits a pedestrian at a crossing at Lakūnų g. and Žirmūnų g., Vilnius

On Friday, 4 October 2019, in the evening at 20:38, in Vilnius, on Lakūnų street, at the junction with Žirmūnų street, an Opel Zafira hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 23-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Opel (35 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
