On Monday, 7 October 2019, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaunas, on Raudondvario pl. near No. 122, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a BMW 320D hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 52-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
