On Tuesday, 8 October 2019, in the evening at 17:40, in Prienų district municipality, on the Vilnius–Prienai–Marijampolė main road (kilometre 77), an Opel Astra rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Opel (20 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. The driver was sober.
