On Thursday, 10 October 2019, in the evening at around 17:00, in Klaipėda, on Smiltelės street, at the junction with Mogiliovo street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved a Citroen C5 and a Skoda. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 35-year-old driver of the Citroen (8 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
