On Friday, 11 October 2019, in the afternoon at 15:30, in Kaunas, on Panerių street, at the junction with A. Stulginskio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW 730 and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (0.99‰ blood alcohol).
