On Wednesday, 16 October 2019, in the afternoon at 12:30, in Kaunas, on J. Semaškos street near No. 17A, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Iveco 65C15 and a MAN. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Iveco (13 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
