On Friday, 18 October 2019, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, Bobių village, on Liepų street near No. 13, in a yard, a MTZ Belarus-50 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 49-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the MTZ, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
