On Tuesday, 22 October 2019, in the evening at 17:30, in Kauno district municipality, Raudondvario village, on S. Nėries street near No. 6, at the junction with Atgimimo street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a KIA Motors and a Volvo V70. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the KIA Motors (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
