On Wednesday, 30 October 2019, in the evening at 17:10, in Kaunas, on Sukilėlių pr. near No. 13, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Audi, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
