On Saturday, 2 November 2019, in the evening at around 18:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 117, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Seat Ibiza. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Renault, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
