On Sunday, 3 November 2019, in the evening at 17:29, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 5.45), a Citroen C5 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Citroen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
