On Saturday, 23 November 2019, at night at 1:12, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street, at the junction with J. Jasinskio street, a Subaru Legacy hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Subaru (10 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.17‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
