On Saturday, 23 November 2019, at night at 3:44, in Jurbarko district municipality, on the Kaunas–Jurbarkas–Šilutė–Klaipėda national road (kilometre 102), a Toyota ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Toyota, who failed to choose a safe speed. She was drunk (1.43‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
