On Friday, 29 November 2019, in the evening at 19:30, in Vilnius, on Geležinio Vilko street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel, a MAZ 975800 registered in Belarus and an Iveco 400E38 registered in Belarus. One person died — a 72-year-old passenger of the Opel (later died from the injuries). Two people were injured — the 69-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient) and a 69-year-old passenger of the Opel (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 69-year-old driver of the Opel (36 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. Both drivers were sober.
