On Monday, 2 December 2019, in the afternoon at 16:30, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Aristava–Kėdainiai–Cinkiškiai national road (kilometre 23.30), a head-on collision while overtaking occurred. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW (13 years of driving experience), who violated overtaking rules. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was snowing, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
