On Wednesday, 4 December 2019, in the evening at around 18:00, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, Serdokų village, on Vilkaviškio street near No. 10, at a gas station, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4, a MAN TGX 18.400 registered in Russia and a Schmitz SPR 24 registered in Russia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Audi (36 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.16‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
