On Saturday, 9 November 2019, at night at around 23:00, in Akmenės district municipality, on Respublikos street near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Mercedes-Benz. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of a vehicle, who failed to keep a safe distance.
