On Friday, 13 December 2019, in the evening at 21:20, in Kaunas, on 9-ojo Forto street, at the junction with B. Brazdžionio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz CL500 and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz CL500 (17 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
