On Friday, 13 December 2019, in the evening at 19:35, in Vilnius, on Žaliakalnio street near No. 60, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Ford Focus and a Toyota. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Ford, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (2.32‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
