On Wednesday, 25 December 2019, at night at around 3:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on Žemaitės street, at the junction with Rožių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 206, a Toyota Avensis and an Opel Zafira. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. All drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, there was freezing rain, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
