On Friday, 27 December 2019, in the evening at 19:45, in Kaunas, on Baltijos street near No. 40, in a yard, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Skoda Fabia, a BMW 320D, an Audi A4 Avant and a Daihatsu Sirion. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Skoda (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.18‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
