On Monday, 30 December 2019, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on Savanorių pr. near No. 278, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Rover 75 and a Solaris Trollino 12. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 51-year-old driver of the Rover (30 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.36‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
