Fiat Punto and two other cars crash at Galvės g. and J. Tiškevičiaus g., Vilnius
On Tuesday, 31 December 2019, in the afternoon at 11:33, in Vilnius, on Galvės street, at the junction with J. Tiškevičiaus street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Fiat Punto, a Volvo and a BMW. Two people were injured — the 74-year-old driver of the Fiat (hospitalized) and the 35-year-old driver of the BMW (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the Fiat (30 years of driving experience), who entered the oncoming traffic lane. The 29-year-old driver of the Volvo was drunk. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
