On Friday, 10 January 2020, in the evening at 20:10, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 81.50), a Subaru Legacy Outback hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Subaru (14 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 110 km/h.
