On Sunday, 12 January 2020, in the evening at 22:10, in Telšių district municipality, on Luokės street near No. 51, at the junction with Masčio street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Ford Galaxy. One person was injured — a 26-year-old passenger of the BMW (severely injured, hospitalized, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk and fled the scene.
