On Monday, 27 January 2020, in the morning at 7:40, in Šiaulių district municipality, Ginkūnų village, on Aušros street, at the junction with Žeimių street, a Renault Master hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. One person was injured — a 13-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 65-year-old driver of the Renault (24 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
