On Wednesday, 29 January 2020, at night at 23:09, in Alytus, on Ulonų street near No. 1, a BMW X5 30d ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the BMW (5 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. A 23-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (2.04‰). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
