On Thursday, 30 January 2020, at night at around 2:00, in Raseinių district municipality, Didžiulių village, on the Ariogala–Raseiniai–Kryžkalnis national road (kilometre 16.94), a Ford Mondeo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
