On Saturday, 1 February 2020, at night at 23:21, in Prienų district municipality, on F. Vaitkaus street, at the junction with Medelyno street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 WW. Audi S4 and an Audi A4 Avant. One person was injured — a 21-year-old passenger of the Audi A4 Avant (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi A4 WW. Audi S4 (1 year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
