On Tuesday, 4 February 2020, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Kintų town, on Kuršių street near No. 25, a Renault Master hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 58-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Renault (15 years of driving experience). He fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
