On Wednesday, 12 February 2020, in the afternoon at 11:55, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Jonava–Kėdainiai–Šeduva national road (kilometre 86.93), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a BMW 320, a Ford Mondeo and a Peugeot Boxer. Two people were injured — a 79-year-old passenger of the BMW (hospitalized) and a 39-year-old passenger of the BMW (severely injured, treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the BMW, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He had no driving licence. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
