On Friday, 14 February 2020, in the evening at 18:29, in Lazdijų district municipality, Pagrūdų village, on the Leipalingis–Lazdijai–Kalvarija national road (kilometre 45.25), a Volkswagen Golf hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
