On Monday, 24 February 2020, in the afternoon at 16:52, in Vilnius, on Sūduvių street, at the junction with Ežeraičio street, a BMW ran off the road. The collision involved a MAN TGA 18.440 4X2 BLS, the BMW and a Krone. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the MAN (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 60 km/h.
