On Wednesday, 26 February 2020, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kupiškio district municipality, on the Daugpilis–Rokiškis–Panevėžys national road (kilometre 75.60), a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 213 CDI ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (11 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations.
