On Tuesday, 3 March 2020, in the afternoon at 12:26, in Kretingos district municipality, on Kęstučio street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat registered in Great Britain and a Peugeot. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.30‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene.
