On Thursday, 5 March 2020, in the morning at around 9:00, in Klaipėda, on Smiltelės street near No. 12A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a Peugeot 307. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
