On Thursday, 5 March 2020, in the evening at 17:57, in Vilnius, on V. Pietario street, at the junction with Savanorių pr., a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Yaris and an Opel Astra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the Toyota (21 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
