On Friday, 6 March 2020, in the evening at 19:45, in Kaunas, on Šiaurės pr. near No. 34, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo S60 registered in Spain and a Solaris Trollino. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Volvo (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
