On Sunday, 15 March 2020, in the evening at 18:52, in Biržų district municipality, on Kęstučio street near No. 39, an Audi A4 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.22‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
