On Monday, 23 March 2020, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Radviliškio district municipality, on Šiaulių street, at the junction with Purienų street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Mercedes-Benz E200. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.93‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
