On Saturday, 11 April 2020, in the evening at 18:07, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Raseiniai–Baisogala national road (kilometre 3.17), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 and a Volkswagen Passat. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Audi (3 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
