On Tuesday, 14 April 2020, in the evening at 19:51, in Ignalinos district municipality, Dietkauščiznos village, on the Ignalina–Didžiasalis national road (kilometre 23), an Audi A3 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 49-year-old driver of the Audi (25 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.53‰ blood alcohol).
