On Wednesday, 15 April 2020, in the afternoon at 12:22, in Kaunas, on Piliečių street near No. 33, an Opel Astra ran off the road. One person was injured — a 50-year-old passenger of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk, had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
