On Thursday, 16 April 2020, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Klaipėda, on Naujoji Uosto street near No. 5, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Evobus O 530 and a Fiat Ducato. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Evobus (21 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (2.67‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
