On Tuesday, 21 April 2020, in the afternoon at 12:27, in Vilniaus district municipality, Bajorų village, on Šaulio street near No. 68, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Dacia and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Dacia (25 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
