On Saturday, 25 April 2020, in the evening at 19:30, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr., at the junction with Kauno street, an Audi A4 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. She had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
