On Saturday, 25 April 2020, in the evening at 20:05, in Kretingos district municipality, on Klaipėdos street near No. 15, a Hyundai Sonata hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Hyundai (15 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.36‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
