On Friday, 24 April 2020, in the evening at 17:01, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Ukmergė–Molėtai national road (kilometre 23), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 and a Peugeot 206. Three people were injured — a 64-year-old passenger of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient), a 26-year-old passenger of the Audi (treated as an outpatient) and the 49-year-old driver of the Peugeot (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. She had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
